About

Connecticut Miss Amazing provides opportunities for girls and women with disabilities across Connecticut to build confidence, self-esteem, communication skills, and self-advocacy skills through fun events and community involvement. Our AMPLIFY events are designed to be welcoming and encouraging, and participants get the opportunity to share their interests, strengths, and passions with others. There is no cost to register or participate!

At our AMPLIFY events, participants take part in activities such as meeting new friends, stage rehearsal, crafts, hair and makeup, an interview, an introduction, and a 90-second Passion Presentation. 

The Passion Presentation can be anything your daughter loves—a talent, hobby, favorite activity, or cause that is important to her. Communication devices and assistance from a friend or support person on stage are absolutely welcome.

We also have different age divisions, beginning with our Rising Star division for ages 5–9 and continuing through our adult divisions. Participants ages 10 and up have the opportunity to participate in our Advocate Program, with representatives having the opportunity to attend the National Miss Amazing Summit in Chicago.
